Banana pancakes

Bananas are said to be the most consumed fruit in the world and is a perfect addition for several sweet dishes. Since this is sweet it goes well with most savory breakfast dishes such as eggs and toasts. So let’s start making this for breakfast today!

Serves 3-6

Ingredients

150g plain flour

2 tbsp baking powder

I\3 cup sugar

1 egg

1-3 tsp vanilla essence

2 ripe bananas, mashed with a fork

150 ml milk

1tbsp oil

25g butter

Directions

Sift salt, baking powder into pre-sifted flour add sugar. Crack eggs and add to the dry flour mixture. Slowly mix the ingredients together to avoid lumps.

Add the bananas and slowly pour  the milk until you get the consistency you desired.

Heat the oil and butter for a healthy flavour into your  frying pan on medium heat. Pour your mixture into batches  (please don’t over crowd) e.g three large spoonful mixture.

Cook for 2 minutes each or until brown on both side and inside is thoroughly cooked.
